UK manufacturing was recently celebrated at the annual Made in Britain Impact Awards, held on 6 November at West Midlands Safari Park.
Hosted by noted journalist and commentator Matthew Stadlen, the awards were the third time Made in Britain has celebrated its more than 2,100 Uk manufacturing members. The ceremony saw over 160 member representatives present to see the winners announced from the 111 entries across eight categories.
This was the first time the awards took place in person, which gave members a great opportunity to network and celebrate the successes of UK manufacturers over the last 12 months.
Attendees also saw presentations from Near Futurist Guy Clapperton who discussed how to analyse and react to coming trends and from Made in Britain’s policy specialist George Middleton who talked through some of the factors that may be affecting members over the next few years. There was also the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with Made in Britain Chairman, Camilla Hadcock, and CEO, John Pearce.
Following the ceremony, John said, “The trademark is at the heart of our organisation and, seeing the reactions of our winners and runners up today, confirms how much our members have taken all this to their hearts too. To see so many people here to celebrate our sector and the exciting innovations that have taken place in UK manufacturing over the last twelve months is exhilarating and looks great for the future growth plans for 2025.”
