The inaugural Electric Dreams Expo featuring everything electric, including electric vehicles, will be taking place 2-3 July at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills.
The exhibition will have on display all things electric vehicles, with displays showcasing electric cars, electric motorbikes, electric trucks, electric scooters, electric bicycles and electric skateboards. It will also feature electric recreation, living and home innovations.
The show will feature a ‘Live Action Arena’ with vehicle demonstrations and test drives available! A huge range of exhibitors will be on display including Tesla, Lexus of Brisbane, Polestar, and many more. See the full list here.
The event will also mark the national launch of EMMA Inc, Electric Mobility Manufacturers Australia, which aims to support more homegrown manufacturing of electric vehicles in Australia.
Owners of Electric vehicles now enjoy average weekly running costs of less than $5, compared to $60-$100 it costs to fill up a petrol or diesel car. Then of course there is the convenience of plugging in at home, with a vehicle potentially fully charged every morning and no more need to queue at petrol stations.
Electric Vehicles represent a new era of energy management and transport and are set to revolutionise the transport industry in a similar way that smart phones have changed the communication sector over the last decade.
