Family- owned Warehouse Systems Limited (WSL), which celebrates its 30th birthday this month, has purchased almost 30,000 sqft of industrial space across two-acres of land at Brancepeth Place, Leeds.

The new site is situated on the outskirts of the city centre and is in close proximity to Albion Business Park where WSL has been operating over the past 12 years.

WSL are a leading expert in the provision of customised storage systems including racking, shelving and mezzanine floors and it was from the current site where the business opened its first manufacturing facility.

The decision to enter fabrication back in April 2007 was reportedly to further enhance services and increase the quality and range of solutions WSL could offer.

The goal was to present clients a customised service with more flexibility and provide extra assurance that their project was being managed and overseen by the same competent team from initial design through to installation.

Twelve years on, WSL have excelled in its ability to provide quality and cost-effective bespoke solutions which not only meet the exact requirements of clients but are truly unique to each individual site.

The business later became the first and largest mezzanine floor manufacturer to achieve full SEMA membership (Storage Equipment Manufacturing Association) while holding accreditation to CE Mark BS: EN 1090, which demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

Today WSL continues to grow and with rapidly expanding client base; the company welcomes the extra space which will house a larger workforce and much more factory activity.

WSL’s managing director, Sophie Langdale, commented: “Having carried out extensive works to the new site at Brancepeth Place over the last few months, we are now very much looking forward to moving in at the end of the week and celebrating our 30th birthday in our new home.

“This is a new and exciting chapter for WSL, and one which will benefit both our clients and employees greatly. Our new and much larger premises will provide the perfect opportunity for us to work on and introduce more fabricated products, grow our workforce and further increase our services.”
