Mechatronic Solutions, a UK provider of automation solutions to the manufacturing industry, is this year celebrating 25 years of trading.
Despite the recession, the Birmingham-based company has grown by 50% each year for the last three years.
“The manufacturing industry recognises that automation is essential for healthy growth,” said managing director, Richard Evans. “We provide a fast and economical route to the best, most robust and reliable manufacturing solutions that provide true value for money.”
Mr Evans set up Mechatronic in 1988 using the money from the sale of his tool making company Westley Tools to start the business.
The company follow the kaizen philosophy of constant improvement. Their new purpose built headquarters include a kaizen workshop where they can build full size mock ups for their customers to provide accurate quotes and time scales. Working backwards from a budget, mock up models can be created, tested and adapted to ensure the end result fulfils all the requirements.
