Leading food manufacturer The Compleat Food Group has announced the appointment of Tom Riley as its new Chief Financial Officer as the company targets further growth.
Tom has worked in senior leadership positions within the food industry for over 10 years. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Fox’s Burton’s Companies, where he has been responsible for the financial integration of Fox’s Biscuits and Burton’s into a single entity following its acquisition by the Ferrero confectionary group.
Prior to this, Tom worked in professional services supporting large, privately owned and private equity backed organisations for nearly 10 years.
In his new role Tom will be responsible for driving forward The Compleat Food Group’s financial strategy as it continues its journey to become the UK’s no.1 chilled prepared food company.
Formed in October 2021, The Compleat Food Group was created from the merger of Addo Food Group and Winterbotham Darby, with the group acquiring Wrights Food Group in December 2021. It is now a £0.7bn turnover food group, and is home to brands including Pork Farms, Wall’s Pastry, Squeaky Bean, Unearthed, Vadasz and most recently, Palace Culture, which it acquired in 2023.
