This year’s fourth (and final) edition of The Manufacturer magazine for 2025 is out now. The final issue of The Manufacturer for 2025 is now available, and it takes a deep dive into one of the most pressing challenges facing the sector today: cyber security. Following the recent, high-profile cyberattack on JLR, the importance of protecting digital infrastructure has never been clearer. This edition’s feature guide provides manufacturers with practical advice on strengthening their cyber defences.

The magazine also follows the final judging stage of The Manufacturer MX Awards 2025, capturing insights from judges and finalists about the process, the value of the awards to their businesses, and tips for future participants.

Other highlights include an exploration of how Lloyds Banking Group and the Manufacturing Technology Centre are supporting automation investment, and a look at why connected reliability has become a strategic priority for Fluke Corporation. BigCommerce outlines a practical roadmap for digital maturity, while the chemicals industry faces scrutiny on how it can remain globally competitive.

Readers can also expect a preview of the Manufacturing Leaders’ Summit 2025, an inside look at JLR’s sustainability strategy, and discussions with industry leaders including Rolls-Royce on lean manufacturing and XpertRule Software on the real potential of agentic AI. Additional features cover ABB’s work with collaborative robots, WiM UK’s push for inclusive industrial growth, and Signify’s partnership with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team to advance lighting in manufacturing.

The SME Focus section showcases innovative smaller manufacturers: Leon Paul Equipment Co. Ltd redefining the future of fencing; Mylands highlighting the evolution of paint manufacturing; Supertracker’s precision vehicle alignment technology; and Transicon Limited celebrating six decades of engineering excellence.
