The winners of The Manufacturer MX (TMMX) Awards 2025 have been announced at a black-tie ceremony and gala dinner at Titanic Hotel Liverpool, the culminating event of this year’s The Manufacturer Live.
Amid the many challenges that have defined 2025, UK manufacturers have demonstrated unwavering resolve—turning adversity into opportunity and reaffirming the industry’s reputation for ingenuity and strength. TMMX Awards stand as a testament to that spirit, bringing together some of the most talented, innovative, and dedicated manufacturers from across the nation.
‘Innovation, dedication and sheer brilliance’
Speaking on the night, Grace Gilling, Managing Director of The Manufacturer, praised all this year’s finalists: “No other manufacturing industry awards match the level of scrutiny we bring. Every finalist in this room has undergone a rigorous judging process, dedicating significant time and resources to take part. And I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the finalists.
“It’s an incredible joy to witness the innovation, dedication, and sheer brilliance of this community. As moderators during judging, many of us hear your stories firsthand, and they inspire us deeply.”
Joe Bush, Editor of The Manufacturer, touched on just how important the manufacturing sector is to many: “This is my fifth The Manufacturer MX Awards and the talent that gathers for this ceremony each year never ceases to amaze and inspire. Looking around the room, one thing is clear: manufacturing matters! It is of course an opportunity for people to come to gather, celebrate and toast the achievements of the sector but it also provides an insight into just how much this sector means to so many people.
“It’s clear that people working within manufacturing truly care about the sector that employs them. For so many people it really is more than a job and the passion and pride that resonates through the awards is there for all to see. UK manufacturing… what a fantastic sector to be a part of!”
In a nod to UK manufacturing’s resilience, Henry Anson, Director at Hennik Group (part of Nineteen Group), publishers of The Manufacturer, said: “My colleagues and I sense your steely resolve, determination to crack on and invest in the future of your individual operations and the future of the UK.”
A 50-year heritage
With a combined heritage of over 50 years, TMMX Awards are widely regarded as the gold standard in the manufacturing industry, recognising and celebrating both companies and individuals who are achieving amazing things.
Organised by The Manufacturer in partnership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and with the support of this year’s headline sponsor SugarCRM, as well as category sponsors Autodesk, Infor, Cognizant, Columbus and Customs Support Group, TMMX Awards are the only peer-reviewed and judged programme of their kind for UK manufacturing. They exist to encourage, benchmark and celebrate manufacturing excellence, with every stage of the programme adding value for participants, regardless of their excellence maturity.
Rigorously assessed across 11 categories and over a three-month period, TMMX Awards provide tremendous value for every company that takes part, often revealing both strengths and weaknesses many didn’t know they had.
The Manufacturer is always proud and willing to beat the drum for UK manufacturing and that includes this annual recognition and celebration of all the amazing companies and individuals in the sector.
